Sent a proposal to Erin Lucia at the Movie Tavern asking for space on Thursday, April 19, for a double feature of “An Inconvenient Truth” and “Who Killed the Electric Car”. The screening will begin at 7:00pm. I am asking for two theaters. To advertise her appearance, we will show a very short clip from one of the Julia Butterfly Hill films prior to the screenings.
Here is a list of other films we will screen at the various locations (DPL, TWU, UNT) throughout the month of April. The schedule is still TBD.
Butterfly (80 min.)
Full Circle: A Life Story of Eustace Conway
Future of Food (88 min.)
Luna: The Stafford Giant Treesit (20 min.)
Power Trip (85 min. )
The Take (87 min.)
Texas Gold (21 min.)
Tree-Sit: The Art of Resistance (120 min.)
Our committee discussed offering some children’s films, but I will need input from DPL staff on this:
Fern Gully
The Lorax
